Universal kick in the balls.

So, about 2 hours ago now, I found out that my Grandfather died.
He is the one that raised me throughout most of my childhood when my parents were going through separation followed by a divorce. And even then after, I tended to live with my grandparents more than I did my own parents.

The man was a hero to me. He was a WWII vet, awarded a Purple Heart and several other medals. He was an avid fisherman, and taught me the subtleties of getting out of the city and just having a relaxing day on the water with a pole. He never drank, never smoked. He was a very devout Mormon: active in his religion, ordained a priest, and attended church every Sunday. He was very faithful to his beliefs. He was always Kind and caring, and was always available to help those in need.

He will be sorely missed.
Since I am Wiccan, all I have left to say is:
Blessed be, Grandpa.
